my vision was set on capturing the energy of exploring an abandoned place for the first time, which somehow mirrored feelings I cycle through. Being there made me feel afraid and distant from the world, yet strangely secure in my own isolation. I felt this sense of detachment that i have easily found peace with.  shot at an abandoned power plant out of a completely forgotten era. one of the most beautiful places i have ever been.

SANDS is a clothing brand based in the heart of Cairo, Egypt. It seeks to weave the diversity of the Egyptian culture into the very essence of it’s identity. By drawing inspiration from the timeless allure of the desert sands and the vibrant culture, this brand identity was born.

I decided to use  IBM Courier font in crafting this book as it encapsulated the essence of precision and simplicity that I aimed to convey throughout the design. To further challenge my creative boundaries, I committed to using a 12pt size for the entirety of the project. This book was driven by my fascination with algorithms and coding data, finding beauty in the structured order they bring to the chaotic world of information. The IBM Courier font served as the perfect visual representation of the harmonious marriage between technology and design.

I chose to go out alone one night and explore my own personal senses. I wanted to connect with my perception light, darkness, and the emotions evoked by the state of being alone.  Each image represents a visual manifestation of my encounters with light and darkness in different spaces. These 100 recordings have been carefully selected, each capturing a profound moment of shadow, illumination or the interplay between the two.
